At Element Wellness and Sports Rehabilitation, your physical therapist will perform a thorough history intake and evaluation to identify the root cause of your pain.  Our goal is to avoid chasing your symptoms by treating the underlying reasons you are experiencing them.  The thoroughness of our evaluation will help us find the correct diagnosis and  provide you with an accurate and specific treatment plan.  Your treatment strategy will then be tailored to fit your individual health concern(s) and your goals.  We believe the best way to help you maintain the results from soft tissue release of your muscles, fascia, and nervous system between sessions is to re-teach your muscles to move your joints properly and then provide a Home Exercise Program reinforcing the motor control necessary for continued improvement toward your goals.  This will be a collective effort between you and your physical therapist.

Services

Selective Functional Movement Assessment

The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a whole body clinical evaluation and movement-based diagnostic tool used to systematically uncover the root cause of pain by logically breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns.

INSTRUMENT Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

We use different manual therapy techniques to sense and release restrictions in your body, receiving information either directly through our hands or indirectly through the various instruments. Therapeutic taping can be used to facilitate changes even after your session.

Myofascial Release Therapy

Myofascial Release is a hands-on technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure three-dimensionally into fascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore mobility.

CranioSacral Therapy

Using a soft touch, our practitioners assess the craniosacral system and release restrictions in the soft tissues surrounding the central nervous system while restoring symmetry in craniosacral rhythm to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

cupping

We use a modern method of cupping, employing static and sliding techniques, to stimulate blood flow to a specific region for increased circulation, calming the nervous system, and removing excess fluid and toxins.

Pilates-Based Rehabilitation

We are trained in the STOTT Pilates Rehab method, which incorporates precise movements and core principles of motion, including breath, control, fluidity, and accuracy to gently restore alignment and muscle balance in your body.

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral manipulation is a method of treating your internal organs and the tissues to release restrictions and restore glide, allowing your body to maintain new mobility for long lasting results.
